2ND ALARM AFTER VACATE

Just after completing a vacate of an illegal occupany around the corner from the firehouse, Squad Company 252 was sent on phone calls to Box 0715, 13 Belvidere Street, Broadway to Beaver Streat.  First due companies transmitted a 10-75 for fire on the first floor of a three story, unattached frame.  Upon arrival, members of 252 were sent to Exposure 4.  The building was attached by a small overhang in the alley-way between the buildings.  Extension was found in Exposure 4 through this attachment and a 2nd Alarm was transmitted.  Extensive over-haul was required to extinguish numerous pockets of fire throughout the walls and ceilings of both buildings.
