Squad Company 252 responded to two all hands early this morning.  Box 2067, 320 Logan Street, Liberty Ave to Atlantic Ave, was transmitted for heavy fire in the rear of a two-story private dwelling.  Upon arrival Squad was ordered to Exposure 2 to check for extension in the rear.  First due companies had quickly knocked down the bulk of the fire which had extended to the siding on the rear of the fire building.  No extension was found in Exposure 2 and Squad was released.

While returning from East New York, Brooklyn advised 252 to switch to the Queen's frequency for a job.  Queens assigned the company to respond to 10-75 Box 4577, 60-59 Myrtle Ave, Freshpond Road to 60th Lane.  First due companies reported fire in the ceiling of the first floor restaurant of a three story, corner, brick building.  Command put members of 252 to work on the 2nd floor of the building.  Fire was found in the walls directly above the fire and had extended to the ceiling of the 2nd floor.  252 opened up as the 3rd due engine knocked down fire.  Minor extension was found in the floor of the 3rd floor.
