Squad 252 responded to fill the 10-75 at Box 1732, 41 Sheffield Ave, Fulton Street to Atlantic Ave for a fire in a three story multiple dwelling.  Located in the East New York section of Brooklyn, heavy fire was encountered upon arrival with reports of people trapped on the upper floors.  With water supply problems and all hands working on the 1st and 2nd floors, members of 252 were ordered to the 3rd floor to conduct searches.  As they made their way from the 2nd to 3rd floor a victim was encountered by Squad's interior team.  A 10-45 was transmitted and the women was removed.  The women had sustained severe burns over her entire body and was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene.  A 2nd Alarm was transmitted due to heavy fire throughout the building.
